Overview
ARC Metalcentre supplies DuraGal® Clear RHS (Rectangular Hollow Section) and SHS (Square Hollow Section) galvanised steel, manufactured in Australia for strength, durability and reliable performance. These high-strength, cold-formed hollow sections are hot dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4792 with a minimum average coating mass of 100g/m² applied to both interior and exterior surfaces for superior corrosion protection.
DuraGal® Clear sections are also treated with a non-chromate passivation layer that meets AS 4506 permeability test requirements. Available as C450PLUS structural tube, they achieve the highest strength grade, C450L0, of AS/NZS 1163 while maintaining the ductility and formability of C350L0 ensuring no loss of workability for fabrication and structural applications.
