Overview
ARC Metalcentre supplies Black CHS (Circular Hollow Section) steel tubes, manufactured as high-strength, cold-formed hollow sections with a mineral-based surface finish. The coating can be easily removed with alkali solution or kerosene, and should be stripped prior to priming or top coating unless used in benign environments. Black CHS steel is suitable for fabrication using standard workshop techniques, with conventional pre-treatment processes preparing the product for galvanising when required.
